Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to support individuals and families impacted by food insecurity. We primarily serve those in the Chatham School District, but anyone from Columbia County is welcome. We serve all with equity, dignity and respect.
Use of Funds
All our activities are funded by donations from the community, either in the form of dollars or food items, and grants through the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. Donated funds are used solely for the purchase of food and personal necessities as well as facility improvement, maintenance and small administrative items. No person on the staff is paid; all efforts are volunteer.
In addition there is a Pantry at School Outreach Fund administered by Chatham School guidance professionals for families with emergency needs other than food.
